Shapes of Bauhaus

Including 19 Bauhaus geometric pieces and an elm wood base with five lanes, you are the artist creating new artworks every day. Slide the pieces on the grooves, make them stand, and enjoy experimenting with different combinations!

This is a rendition to the women of the Staatliches Bauhaus School in their effort to bring the artistic movement down to earth, interactively and educationally that would bring a consciousness of harmony for the present and the future.

Notably inspired by Alma Siedhoff-Buscher's Kleine Schiffbauspiel "Little ship-building game", from 1923, which consisted of 32 coloured wooden pieces to create essential figures of everyday items: boats, houses, and cars.
