Chisel & Mouse | Fagus Factory

The Fagus factory is a prime example of modernist industrial architecture. It was the first significant building by Walter Gropius, a pioneer of the Bauhaus architectural movement. Gropius designed a glass-and-steel structure. The windowed corners made it a hallmark for his brand-new form of architecture.

The Fagus factory in Alfeld was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2011.
